Financial Crisis Could Affect Med-Tech Market

It remains to be seen whether the financial crisis will spill over to the medical technology market and there is no consensus on the matter. While the common wisdom is that the medical field is recession proof, Credit Suisse is doubtful of that proposition, predicting that the credit crunch will indeed spill over to medical technology-related industries.
The Millennium Research Group, however, predicts that the medical sector will be largely unaffected by the financial downturn.
